Common questions

How do I open HEIC files by double-clicking?

Right-click a .heic file, choose Open with, then Choose another app, select HEIC Converter and tick Always.

Where is "Convert to JPG" in File Explorer?

Select one or more HEIC files and right-click. On Windows 11 the action may be under Show more options.

Why does the free version stop at 5 files?

Free converts up to 5 files per batch, as many batches as you like. Pro removes the limit. The app says so before you start a batch.

I bought Pro but the app still shows Free

Open the Microsoft Store app and make sure you're signed in with the account you bought with. Then close HEIC Converter and open it again. The app checks your Microsoft Store license each time it starts.

A file won't convert

The app names every file that failed and why. Files that are not really HEIC, or are damaged, cannot be converted. Send us the error text and we'll look into it.

No. Everything happens on your PC. See the privacy policy.
